Our team in Granbury came to us when Allred-Thompson-Mason-Daugherty Insurance merged with Higginbotham in 2008, but its leadership has been practicing in Granbury for much longer. The Briscoe Dunn Agency was opened by C. Briscoe Dunn in 1979, and it merged with Allred-Thompson-Mason-Daugherty in Wichita Falls two years before the firm joined forces with Higginbotham.
Originally a life and health insurance broker, the Biscoe Dunn Agency had grander visions. It wanted to keep pace with Granbury’s developing business sector.
To do that, the agency sought to expand its service portfolio to include business and personal property/casualty insurance. Its first move toward this end came when it merged with Allred-Thompson-Mason-Daugherty, and it added ancillary risk management and benefit administration services with the Higginbotham union.
Now, the Granbury office operates under the Higginbotham name and provides all the Single Source insurance solutions that the firm has to offer.
